Every Alfa begins their journey with a fixed-term contract of 1 year (CCNL Commercio, III Level), with the aim of renewing to an indefinite term and continuing a long path of growth within our organization.

Location: Milan, Via Eritrea n. 21 20157 (Palazzo Tecniche Nuove)

Full Time: Monday - Friday | 09:00 - 18:00 | 1-hour lunch break

Hybrid Mode: 60% office, 40% home office - 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Start Date: 3rd March 2025 / 7th April 2025
Offered Salary (gross): 50-60K gross

Trial Period: 60 working days (3 months)

We are looking for an experienced Head of HR & Office Management to lead our HR and Office Management teams, currently consisting of 4 members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both operational tasks and strategic leadership within these areas.

A hands-on mentality is just as important as the ability to lead both operational and strategic functions of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (Hands-On & Strategic):

  • Lead and manage all HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management
  • Execute the entire payroll process for Italy and Germany
  • Manage employment contracts for both Italy and Germany
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal company policies
  • Proactively manage employee relations, engagement, and well-being initiatives
  • Manage benefits administration and compensation strategies
  • Conduct training and development programs to support leadership and employee growth

Office Management (Hands-On & Operational):

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment
  • Manage office supplies and ensure proper inventory
  • Support the organization of company events, meetings, and other corporate functions
  • Implement and maintain workplace policies to improve efficiency and collaboration
  • Ensure the office remains a welcoming, well-functioning space for employees
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar position in HR & Office Management, preferably within a fast-growing company
  • A hands-on approach—ready to take action, not just oversee processes
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law, with German labor law knowledge a plus
  • Fluent in English and native-level Italian. German language skills are a plus
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Onboarding and Training: During the onboarding phase at AlfaDocs, you will always have a colleague ready to support you and responsible for your training. Unless otherwise specified, an onboarding period of 1 week is scheduled at our Munich office, where you will have the pleasure of meeting our entire team and visiting the beautiful city!
