Embedded Software Engineer
TXT e-Tech, a company part of the TXT Group, is looking for Software Engineers to join an important client in the aerospace sector. The resources will mainly be responsible for managing the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding and testing in compliance with standards for avionics or embedded systems.
Main responsabilities:Software requirements analysis to ensure compliance with system specifications and propose updates or corrections when necessary; Object-oriented software sesign and architecture, ensuring traceability between requirements and design through tools such as DOORS; Coding and implementation to update and maintain software modules, ensuring they are aligned with detailed design documents and resolving issues arising from testing; Testing and validation by performing unit and integration tests in host environments and ensuring compliance with defined standards; Prepare detailed design documents, test plans, test reports and release notes to support formal reviews, audits and configuration management processes.
Technical skills required:In-depth knowledge of HOOD (Hierarchical Object-Oriented Design) methodology; Ada Programming Language for critical software development; Excellent knowledge of development and debugging tools (e.g. compilers or debuggers and tools in Windows and UNIX environments); Knowledge of UML for the design and documentation of software systems; Ability to interpret and manage requirements expressed using the Statemate tool.
Nice to Have:Familiarity with the use of the TNI-Toolset for HOOD design; Familiarity with Data Bus 1553 and 3910 standards for avionics communication; Familiarity with software development using ApexAda Embedded (formerly IBM Rational Apex); Familiarity with the use of PBA Bus Analyser; Experience with PCMS (Serena PVCS for EF programme), DOORS and RM&T tools.
Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electronics or aerospace/aeronautical engineering.
A good knowledge of the English language, good communication and problem solving skills and an excellent ability to work in a team complete the profile.
