Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Overview:

This position is based on property at Aman Rosa Alpina, San Cassiano Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
• Ensure exceptional guest interactions, providing discreet yet engaging service.
• Oversee restaurant, bar, and event operations, ensuring seamless service from arrival to departure.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Operational Leadership & Financial Performance:
• Support the F&B Manager in maximizing revenue while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Monitor sales performance, financial reports, and inventory management, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with financial, licensing, and operational regulations.
• Team Development & Leadership:
• Train, mentor, and motivate the F&B team to deliver world-class hospitality.
• Conduct pre-service briefings, ensuring staff are well-prepared and knowledgeable.
• Foster a supportive and positive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation.
• Operational Excellence & Innovation:
• Maintain consistency in service standards, ensuring all outlets adhere to Aman’s luxury expectations.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of the menu, upselling opportunities, and food & beverage pairings.
• Oversee the coordination of functions and events, working closely with other departments to exceed client expectations.
• Health, Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
• Monitor and enforce hotel and brand policies, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Languages: Fluent in English and Italian (verbal & written).
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in F&B Management within an international luxury hotel.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for luxury service and exceptional guest experiences.

Desirable Attributes:
