Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
We are looking for a NOC/NPC Communications Specialist to join National Committees Relations and Services Team, which is responsible for planning and managing relations and services with National Olympic and Paralympic Committees (NOCs and NPCs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing a comprehensive pre-Games communications programme for NOCs and NPCs, including all mass communications such as periodic progress reports, presentations, and direct written communications to NOCs and NPCs;
- Contribute to the production and regular updates of the NOC/NPC Chefs de Mission Guide.
- Assist in implementing the Games-time written communications programme for NOCs and NPCs.
- Prepare presentations, reports and meeting minutes.
- Create and manage operational documents such as complex lists, tables and trackers.
- Write policies and procedures.
- Update content on Extranet for NOCs/NPCs.
Skills:
- Strong writing and editing abilities;
- Basic graphic design knowledge;
- Proficiency in various communications channels;
- Analytical thinking;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritise tasks and requests;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Proactive approach and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge:
- Advanced proficiency of English (native or bilingual speaker)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in communications/public relations. Experience in the organisation of major sport events will be considered as a plus
