We are looking for a hands-on, creative, best-in-class professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. The successful candidate will be based in Italy and manage all aspects of application support for company's manufacturing and sales sites in Europe
Required skills and experience:
Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a Bachelor's Degree focusing on Information Technology
Experience Required: 5+ years as Analyst in a Manufacturing environment
Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies and implementationsExperience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-business 11.5.10/Rel 12 is very appreciated
Candidate must be skilled in leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Skilled in leading projects & developing project documentation such as scope definition, work breakdown structure, project plan, schedule, budget and risk management etc.
Good knowledge of SQL is a must, while Exposure to PL-SQL is desirable.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Ability to work in a matrix environment and to use influencing skills to build consensus among disparate stakeholders.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
Fluency in English and Italian languagesMain duties:
Leading a team of Site Analysts in managing all aspects of applications support & process enhancements at the respective manufacturing site.Partnering with the site business users and global Applications team in streamlining and improving business process and related application systems.
Working closely with the users & local site management in understanding their requirements & Liaison with the Global Applications team to deliver provide the best fit solution, while maintaining the integrity of existing applications.
Actively participating in analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of new & improved business processes.
Challenging design to facilitate simplification, customer orientation, standardization, and enterprise optimization rather than functional silos.
Documenting and communicating changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance.
Managing teams comprised of business analysts, developers, DBAs, consultants, and other project leads. The candidate will be responsible for guiding and directing to ensure the overall success of all projects.
Leading and mentoring local applications team with a clear focus on accountability and accomplishment.
