Our Client is a global automotive leader active in the Commercial & Specialty Vehicles, Powertrain, and related Financial Services arenas that employs approximately 34,000 people around the world and has 28 manufacturing plants and 29 R&D centers.

Procurement is the portion of supply chain dealing with suppliers for negotiation and component to have the best technical solution at the best price, working as well on development and launches , managing and securing deliveries etc. Large scope and interaction with many departments in the company so several exchange necessary: Platform, Engineering , Quality , Manufacturing, Plants Sales Operation Planning etc , moreover working with the suppliers (external), criticals and strategical ones too.

The daily activities will be split between supporting the head of BU Procurement on the main Project and topics, following and driving them, preparing and monitoring material, meeting etc and workingwith critical suppliers supporting plant feasibility, setting up actions on criticalities, coordinating the activities with Sourcing Areas Advanced purchasing, Plant procurement etc.

The specialist has to:

Ø Support the Head of BU Procurement in the daily activities working on projects, follow up activities

Supporting, coordinating, launching and driving its inside the procurement team;

Ø Handle dedicated reporting , presentation for the top management;

Ø Working on dashboard, KPI and other reporting to support the Procurement function ( Financial and Strategic data, SLA, Backlog trend etc);

Ø Carry out various analysis in case on Negotiation topic, Deliveries, Capacity, Launches, Supplier plant/tool re-location or supplier parts phase in/out etc;

Ø Support Budget and Forecast release;

Ø Support with supplier issues and criticalities impacting Invoice /OKTS/Production Offline, support Demand planning & Plants on critical suppliers/critical parts for production (Escalation process Level 3: activating where needed the proper stakeholders, coordinating and monitoring recovery plans, removing and fixing the issues);

Required:

Ø Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools, especially Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc and/or Power BI, Qlik similar;
Ø Master Degree in scientific studies preferred;
Ø At least 3 years’ work experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain or PMO;
Ø Good Leadership / Interpersonal Skills;
ØExcellent English written and oral and good French written and oral;

Preferred Experience / Knowledge

ØExperience in Project management, Procurement and Material Management/Critical suppliers;
