Junior Financial Specialist

Randstad Italia is currently recruiting a Junior Financial Specialist, for a client operating in the oil & gas industry based in Florence.

The job holder will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• To own a strong technical knowledge of POC (percentage of completion accounting) to act as point of contact on financial processes, procedures and impacts quantification;
• To lead the main intercompany rebilling process ensuring profit recognition on many legal entities across all the Regions;
• To contribute to projects enhancing financial data quality working with IT Finance team to support Regional Finance Managers? pacing and reconciliations;
• To reconcile contractual deferred balances across all the legal entities for reporting and controllership reviews;
• To support contractual Margin Reviews and actualization processes focusing on financial tie out by working with Risk Management team;
• Monthly and quarterly closing activities and external auditor support.
