Field Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the team in the assigned Technical organization (division and market) and customers during the execution medium to high complex service work according to workinstructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.
The work model for the role is: LI-Onsite- Restore the functionality of robots / robot systems.
- Deal with electrical, mechanical and software problems.
- Fill out a detailed service reports.
- Coordinating logistics and spare parts for all service visits.
- Inform the Field Service Coordinator and the Sales Engineers on possible technical improvements seen/discussed with the customer on-site.
- Provide technical support via emails/phone and from the office.
- Use the company’s IT tools to record support and service activities.
- Comply with the company’s Safety and Integrity procedures and standards
- You hold a technical Diploma
- Knowledge of automated processes and/or robotics is a plus.
- You have a basic understanding of programming.
- Good knowledge of the Italian and English languages.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and strong analysis skills and the right attitude for problem solving.
