Application Engineer ME&A

For the Industrial Division of the Headquarter FIAMM of Montecchio Maggiore (VI), we are looking for a:

APPLICATION ENGINEER ME&A

The person will take care of the following activities:

• Collect and interpret data based on customer's technical specifications and collaborate with Key Account and sales management for the offer preparation (including public and private tenders)
• Act as technical interface for the commercial area, to provide technical answers, system sizings, product presentations, technical notes
• Act as technical interface for customers, including direct visits on site to provide adequate technical solutions to requests, to carry out training sessions on products, to check the status of the battery installation and provide solutions / answers to the specific issue (acting as first technical interface to customers)
• Carry out after-sales activities regarding the technical management of the order (definition of accessories, shelves, intervention times, technical meetings with the customer, supervision of testing, inspections on goods to be delivered and preparation of technical documentation)
• Coordinate important projects related to assigned countries /areas (MEA and Balkans), involving internal functions and departments (Sales, Purchasing, R&D, Supply chain, Customer service, Quality)
• Participate to exhibitions with sales and marketing teams, to promote products and solutions to customer and partners.

Requirements of the position:

• Technical diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Comprehension of technical specifications
• Comprehension of electrical wiring diagrams and mech. drawings
• Knowledge of battery systems operation (preferable)
• Knowledge of electrical standards (preferable)
• Knowledge of basic chemical principles (preferable)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good level of English (B2 or higher)
