Matix (https://www.azzurrodigitale.com/matix/) is an Industrial IoT and Software solution for manufacturing asset management. Our sensors acquire data directly from molds, dies and machines in a seamless way, providing visibility into asset performance and health.

Through our software platform, clients can transform their traditional asset management operations, enabling condition monitoring and data driven decision making.

Recently, we raised 3+ million euros in the last two years from leading Italian family offices and C-level executives from Fortune 500 companies. We have 40+ customers in Italy and now we are planning to enter into the US market.

As a Technical Sales Manager focused on Global OEMs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of large manufacturers worldwide in adopting and leveraging our cutting-edge technology. Your mission will be to drive revenue growth by enabling OEMs to maximize the value of our solutions, establishing strong relationships, and aligning their manufacturing processes with our technology capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with global OEM clients to drive adoption and usage of MATIX technology.
  • Act as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between our technology and the client’s manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the global OEM sector to exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, presentations and workshops tailored to OEMs’ specific needs.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with client requirements.
  • Represent MATIX at global industry events, fostering brand presence and exploring business development opportunities. Deliver regular progress updates on sales activities and client success metrics.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of experience in technical sales, procurement or operations.

Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly within a global OEM, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and technologies, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. The ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible way is essential, as are exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple global accounts simultaneously.

A willingness to travel internationally and thrive in a dynamic, global environment is also crucial for success in this role.
