Cielo Talent San Donato Milanese
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing maintenance activities, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of sophisticated integrated control and security systems for the Oil & Gas industry. Working with the Project Manager and Service Manager, you will receive assignments in the form of objectives and execute activities to meet established goals.
On this role you will work mainly for our clients in Italy (Monday to Friday and occasionally during the weekend) but may be required to travel abroad (For up to 2 months), including industrial onshore and offshore plants, ships, etc.Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project and Service Managers to plan and schedule site activities.
- Program, debug and modify PLC software (Control Logix, AAdvance and Trusted) using the most common programming language (Ladder, Function Block, Structure text, etc.)
- Configure, debug and modifies HMI software (Factory Talk View)
- Handle industrial networks/switches configuration, debugging, and modification (DLR, REP, PRP, etc.).
- Perform the loop check, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Read and understand wiring diagrams, making small changes to the wiring of the control cabinets.
- Prepare comprehensive site reports and timesheets.
- Master’s Degree in engineering discipline (i.e. Industrial/Process automation, Informatics, Electronics) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- Mandatory knowledge of the Oil&Gas industry.
- Essential proficiency in PLC programming languages..
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience with direct customer contact on a technical basis is required.
- Willingness to travel and work at customer sites mainly in Italy, occasionally international travel.
- Fluency in Italian and intermediate proficiency in English.
