The Continuous Improvement Lead/Engineer will be responsible for driving and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement projects within the organization, with a specific focus on the production area. This role will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and safety teams helping the organization reach its primary targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and deployment of the Granarolo Group's Operational Excellence model, unlocking people capabilities and achieving significant performance changes.
Drive the implementation and management of a corporate continuous improvement plan, ensuring staff involvement and training at all levels.
Develop standard metrics and identify improvement opportunities, managing projects to implement enhancements and monitoring results.
Coordinate continuous improvement programs, collaborating with management and technical staff to support the design and implementation of improvement actions (organization, layout, processes, tools).
Provide training in WCM/lean techniques and continuous improvement practices to ensure the proper use of tools during improvement actions.
Measure, monitor, and control output quality to achieve prescribed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support the deployment of the Granarolo OPEX model in Bologna, Usmate, and Pasturago plants, ensuring all methods, standards, and processes align with global standards. Qualifications:
English fluent, Italian first language Experience:
Previous experience in structured environments, leading or supporting Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement projects (>1 year), Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience. Technical Skills:
Good knowledge and application of Lean methodologies, including WCM/IWS pillars: AM, PM, FI, IM, WPI, ORG, E&T, EHS, LEAD, Q; RTT: run to target; Knowledge of consumer goods/dairy production processes.
Excellent communication abilities at various organizational levels.
Ability to work effectively in a team and constructively challenge the status quo.

Education: Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)English fluent, Italian first language Experience:
