Job Responsibilities
Join our Global E-Retailer and E-commerce Team as a passionate Salesforce Commerce developer where you'll design and develop cutting-edge, composable e-commerce solutions. Be a pivotal part of the dev team focusing on crafting high-quality code and creating microservices architecture with modern frontend and headless technologies.
As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Group Digital Systems Manager on various aspects of e-commerce and Brand websites.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions for global brands like De’Longhi, Kenwood, Braun Household, and Nutribullet
- Collaborate closely with teams to implement and integrate Headless CMS (like Contentstack or Contentful), an External PIM (such as Akeneo or Stibo Systems) and DAM (Asset Bank)
- Develop and enhance decoupled front-end solutions using modern Java Script frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.) in light of every brand System Design
- Ensure smooth integration with Salesforce OMS, SAP CDC (Customer Data Cloud), and SCPI (SAP Cloud Platform Integration) to maintain seamless end-toend processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure content and features are delivered using new headless and API-driven architectures
- Support the continuous rollout of new features and markets
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Provide expertise in maintaining legacy systems (SAP Commerce Cloud) until fully deprecated
Job Profile
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development, including Storefront APIs and OMS integration
- At least 3 years of experience in building Composable Commerce ecosystems with Headless CMS and PIM systems
- Strong expertise in modern Frontend development frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Knowledge of integration platforms, specifically SCPI (SAP Cloud Platform Integration). Mulesoft is a plus
- Experience with SAP Customer Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization using Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting complex integration and e-commerce issues
- Ability to work in Agile (SCRUM, Kanban) environments and proficient with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- A passion for contributing to Digital Transformation
- Strong organizational and goal-oriented skills, with a commitment to meeting challenging deadlines
- An analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:
- Previous experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) as a legacy system
- Familiarity with the Spring framework
- Experience with Git and Docker
- Familiarity with modern API management platforms (Postman, Insomnia) and Graph QL
- Knowledge of Salesforce Order Management System and its integration with various third-party services
- Understanding of Web Ops and release management best practices
- Knowledge of PHP
- Familiarity with Survey.js
- SAP C4C expertise
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
- A degree in technical disciplines (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar)
- Expertise in building Decoupled Frontend applications with excellent performance optimization
- Proficiency in managing multi-brand digital rollouts and working within international teams
- Strong communication skills in Italian and English
