Avionic Software Engineer
TXT Group is looking for an Avionic Software Engineer to join our Aerospace & Aviation division.
As an Avionics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, verification and validation of avionic safety-critical software.
Main Responsibilities:Develop and verify a robust software architecture both for airborne and ground equipment, writing C code in an autonomous way; Create documents and maintain traceability between documents interacting with the customer to elicit the needs; Crafting integration specifications and conducting thorough testing; Engaging in day-to-day activities within an international aeronautical environment, utilizing dedicated laboratories, including a full-scale integration rig.
Daily activities will primarily revolve around the integration of embedded software, the creation and execution of software verification structures. The activity includes code coverage and analysis.
Technical skills required
Proficiency in C programming language; B2 Level of English proficiency is required; General knowledge of industrial/aeronautical communication standards and protocols such as Ethernet, ARINC 429, RS422, RS485, etc; Basic understanding of on-board systems and the avionics/systems development process is advantageous; Initial knowledge of industrial processes (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Telecommunications, or Automation.
