Hotel Manager
Plant products are used primarily in the kitchens of our two restaurants within the Resort, Trattoria sull’Albero and the Michelin-starred restaurant Saporium, and the additional Michelin-starred restaurant Saporium Firenze. Officinal products, on the other hand, are used in the preparation of a cosmetic line of body care products.
Within the estate there are also vineyards, a farm with farmyard animals, cattle, pigs and sheep, and finally an artisanal dairy.
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Manager to oversee our hotel operations. In this position, you will direct the day-to-day Operations. Your duties will include managing personnel, collecting payments, monitoring budgets, and evaluating hotel performance.
The Hotel Manager will have outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams. He/she will have a special talent for ensuring an excellent level of service, a strong business acumen, passion for service, and desire to promote a continuous learning environment.
The Hotel Manager will report directly to the General Manager and the Owner.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise day to day Operations of all departments.
- Organize, control and supervise the work of the Hotel Staff.
- Coordinate the activities of the various departments, monitoring efficiency and quality of services and compliance with standards.
- Conduct regular operations meetings with all department managers/supervisors to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets, and guest feedback.
- Create and implement SoPs, guidelines in collaboration with the HR department.
- Be involved in recruitments activities in collaboration with the HR department.
- Contribute to staff evaluation, job descriptions’ creation and other staff related activities.
- Ensure Guests have a satisfactory stay, and may help resolve escalated customer issue.
- Manage the Hotel Budget and finances with the aim of achieving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collect payments and maintaining records of budget and expenses.
- Evaluate Hotel performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
Candidate profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in Hotel Management or similar role, preferably in luxury hotels.
- Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.
- Essential strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage large teams.
- Knowledge of LHW high level standards is necessary.
- Strong knowledge of the F&B and Room Division department.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Hotel PMS, OS, email.
- Excellent level of English language is required.
- Proactive attitude and excellent communication skill.
