Our client is an innovation-driven global pharmaceutical company with a presence across Specialty, Generics and OTC businesses.It focuses on the key therapeutic areas of respiratory, dermatology and oncology.
The position reports to the Southern Europe Cluster Head.
Il tuo nuovo ruolo
As the Country Head Italy you will be a proactive part in the growth of the cluster.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure value and volume mix for the sales numbers in order to ensure a demand led growth in the country
- Financial KPI achievements for the country
- Monitoring financial data on a monthly basis and monitoring of variances to avoid overspending or under spending
- Gain Rank and Market Share Growth in line with stated annual objectives
- Sustain existing and develop new working relationships with a range of partners (vendors, distributors and collaborators), including civil society, local and national government, media, and the private sector ensuring partnerships are wellfounded, well-managed and effective
- Ensure that staffing needs are met, by recruiting people with the right talent, active performance management and promoting effective team identity
You will manage the relationships with external stakeholders such as Customers, KOLs, Health Autorities, Distributors, Pharma Association.
The main goal is to lead the Italian Business to exceed revenue and contribution budgets whilst developing the portfolio of products offered and building strong and useful business relationship throughout the market.
Di cosa hai bisogno per aver successo
You got a Degree either in Science discipline or Business/Economics.
You have proven experience in business management including budgeting, forecasting and P&L accountability, experience in managing cross functional teams and a deep understanding of the local market landscape and stakeholders (including pharma regulations and authorities).
Sales, marketing and business development experience will be fundamental for the position.
You are a resourceful, strategic and analytical thinker and creative problem solver.Previous experience in managing a new business will be a plus.
Fluent English is mandatory.
HQ based in Milan with frequent travels both national and international.
