At Aman, we create exceptional guest experiences that extend beyond hospitality into luxury retail offerings. As Retail Manager, you will oversee all aspects of retail operations, ensuring an exquisite shopping experience that reflects Aman’s culture and brand values.

This role blends sales expertise, team leadership, and operational excellence, driving revenue while delivering personalized, high-end service.

This position is based on property at Aman Rosa Alpina, San Cassiano Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience & Brand Excellence:
  • Curate a luxury retail experience that surprises and delights guests, both on-property and online.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of all products, their origins, and brand stories, offering an elevated shopping experience.
  • Ensure exceptional guest interactions, providing insightful recommendations and seamless service.
  • Retail Operations & Sales Performance:
  • Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing displays, ensuring stock is replenished and products are properly showcased.
  • Implement upselling techniques and inventory management strategies to drive revenue.
  • Track sales performance, P&L, and expense control, optimizing retail profitability.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the retail team to uphold Aman’s luxury standards.
  • Conduct daily briefings, ensuring the team is informed, engaged, and motivated.
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, and staff performance, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Inventory & Store Management:
  • Conduct regular stock checks, ensuring accurate reporting and timely replenishment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom.
  • Ensure all products are accounted for, displayed correctly, and well-maintained.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Languages: Fluent in Italian and English (spoken & written).
  • Education & Skills:
  • Strong computer literacy, including POS and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a luxury retail or international luxury hotel environment.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in management or supervisory roles in luxury retail or hospitality.
  • A natural sense of humor, self-confidence, and a passion for high-end service.
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.
