Your role and responsibilities
Business Line Home Solutions is a leading global provider of innovative wiring devices and home automation solutions, catering to residential and commercial customers. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Global Product Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive the success of our home solutions worldwide.
As the Global Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive the growth and adoption of our Wiring Accessories and Home Automation portfolios on a global scale. Working closely with the global product lines teams, you will position our products as industry-leading solutions, build comprehensive domain knowledge, translate product technical features into compelling customer value propositions, and responsible product and solutions launches in collaboration with global Division and Local Sales organizations.
As HS Global Product Marketing Manager you will report to the Head of Product Marketing and Sales Development within the Business Line Home Solutions.
Your responsibilities:- Develop and execute global product marketing strategies on the assigned portfolio segment in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including global ELSB/ELSP sales, ELSB/ELSP marketing, and ELSB Communication teams, to define and implement effective go-to-market strategies
- Define and execute the annual marketing plan initiatives related to the assigned BHAS global product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to create compelling product messaging, positioning, and customer stories, working in synergy with the ELSB Communication and Marketing teams to communicate the product stories, customer value propositions and benefits of the assigned portfolio segment in an effectively way
- Provide strategic guidance and support to regional marketing teams in adapting and localizing global marketing strategies to meet regional market dynamics and customer preference
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to define the product launch calendar of the assigned portfolio segment, ensure optimal product-market fit, and drive the development of innovative features and solutions that effectively address customer needs
- Drive the yearly NPI (New Product Introduction) launch plan, ensuring successful market introductions of all innovations from the assigned GPG portfolio segment. This includes adhering to the Divisional Launch Management process and engaging all necessary stakeholders. Additionally, measure and monitor the success of the NPIs during the early stages of market introduction and revise launch strategy where needed based on customer feedback & market acceptance
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrate a strategic mindset and the ability to develop a clear vision for global product marketing efforts. Align this vision with the overall business objectives, market trends, and customer needs
- Collaboration and Relationship Building: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and communication teams. Develop strong relationships with regional/country Product Marketing Directors and front-end sales teams. Foster collaboration and alignment to achieve shared goals.
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in product management, product marketing or business development, preferably in the building automation, smart home, or IoT industry, with a strong track record of driving successful product launches and revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of building automation and home automation solutions, including industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape
- Possess a strong customer orientation with the ability to clearly capture customer needs and transform them into actionable marketing and communications initiatives.
- Availability to travel.
