Process Improvement Specialist, Amazon Shipping

Amazon Shipping is looking to hire a Business Analyst. In this new role you will support the Operations team by working with key data points, diving deep, spotting and analyzing trends, building business need for change and target areas to deliver the key goals within Amazon Shipping as well as directly supporting the operations team across ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) and AMZL (Amazon Logistics)
You will be a self-starter who is comfortable working with data and questioning the status quo to continuously improve our business. This role will require you to work closely with the operations team, understanding existing issues with data, working out how to improve, what data points can be developed and presented differently, sharing knowledge on new and existing processes, actively tracking trends and highlighting opportunities to improve the most important metrics.You will have solid analytical skills, and be an effective communicator, but most importantly you'll be excited about putting our customers first.

You will have a true hands-on approach, operational inclination, good data skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships As this position involves regular interaction with multiple clients, you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at different level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and people at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
- A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
- Accredited experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficient level of Microsoft office, SQL and Visual Basic.
- Experience with performance metrics/KPIs and process improvement.
- Knowledge or experience with Tableau and Power BI.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)
- Solid analytical skills
- Flexibility to work remotely.

- Organizational skill and an operations mindset.
- A work ethic based on a solid desire to exceed expectations.
- Experience of working within logistics, transportation or parcels environment.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and report to a remote manager Display solid judgement on when to escalate problems, especially when dealing with ambiguity
- Willing to engage in productive conflict resolution with key partners
