British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Line Lead in Trieste
As a Line Lead in out team you’ll be responsible to achieve 24 hour production results in accordance with the established production plans; Implement a IWS/continuous improvement approach, Daily Management Systems and continuous improvement and development in line with the Factory targets.Also, you will ensure the compliance with all technical, EHS, and QA standards, procedures, and work instructions and spend time on shopfloor with employees to improve processes and coach employees to develop methodological capabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Active participation in the Leadership Pillar as part of the IWS system coordination and leadership in assigned processes;
- Engagement in daily factory management meetings and occasional participation;
- Leadership in the implementation of plans to improve results and clearly understanding department priorities and improving technical or systemic aspects of operations and coaching team leaders about it;
- Leading and prioritizing during the line production meetings to achieve targeted results, focusing on losses, root causes and actions to address them;
- Reporting safety, quality, autonomous maintenance standards measures as well as production and performance results;
- Creating and managing medium term action plan linked to factory targets
- Degree in engineering or technical subjects
- At least a 2 years production experience i is required;
- Knowledge of the English language at B2 level and native in Italian
- Resource management (people and costs) and ability to work with data and information;
- Advanced computer skills: advanced Excel and Power Point. Power BI knowledge is beneficial
- Good communication and coaching skills and ability to lead and manage a team;
