The role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Engineering Team Lead to guide and inspire our engineering teams from both technical aspects and people management. The ideal candidate will be someone who looks for win-win opportunities with an outcome-driven mindset and understands that execution is key to the success of any technical solution.
What you will do:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Coordinate with architects and senior engineers to resolve technical challenges and enhance project execution.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and productivity, helping to improve workflows based on continuous feedback.
- Support hiring processes to attract and retain top engineering talent.
- Significant hands-on experience in a software engineering role, with a strong background in agile methodologies.
- Experience with PHP/Java/Python frameworks and additional languages.
- Strong understanding of databases (relational/non-relational)
- Proven leadership experience, especially in managing high-performing teams in a technology setting.
- A deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience in a DevOps culture, emphasizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A focus on developing team members through coaching and feedback.
